New York, NY (January 14, 2020) – EFA Partners, a boutique financial advisory firm that provides investment banking and strategic consulting services for companies in the entertainment and media industries, today announced that it arranged construction financing for a new $17 million family entertainment center which is already being built in Tallahassee, Florida. The new venue, known as District 850, will be over 45,000 sq. ft. with a mix of attractions for all age groups and will include corporate and party banquet facilities.
“It has been a pleasure working with Kenny Favre, Ralph Willis and the EFA team,” said Nil Patel, a resident of the Tallahassee area who leads a group of investors who have been developing the project for the past two years. “They have years of experience arranging construction financing for family entertainment centers and their expertise and relationships enabled them to procure various options and, as a result, we’re now looking forward to opening District 850 this summer.”
District 850 will feature 22 lanes of premium bowling, a state-of-the-art laser tag arena, three escape rooms, 75 arcade games, and many other attractions. It will also feature full-service food and beverage throughout the venue and will be targeted to adults, families and corporations. It has an excellent location in the Welaunee Development which is a significant 500+ acre area within Tallahassee that is part of the municipality’s long-term growth strategy.
EFA principals have over 50 years of collective experience in providing financing solutions for leisure companies. They have deep relationships with banks, equipment lessors, specialty finance groups, mezzanine debt providers, and private equity groups. The EFA team prides itself on handling its clients’ financing processes from start to finish. For District 850, EFA garnered interest from a targeted list of prospective financiers, completed comprehensive materials to highlight the attractiveness of the venue and the family entertainment center industry, and participated in all phases of negotiations with lenders.
“It has been a pleasure working with Nil during the development process of his new family entertainment center,” said Kenny Favre, Managing Partner and a founding principal of EFA Partners. “District 850 construction has been ongoing since last summer so the residents of Tallahassee and the surrounding towns will soon be enjoying this new venue which is unlike any others in the area.”
