EFA Partners Arranges Financing for a New Boutique Bowling Venue Being Constructed in California

April 29, 2025

New York, NY (April 29, 2025) – EFA Partners, a financial advisory firm that provides investment banking and strategic consulting services for companies in the entertainment and media sectors, today announced that it arranged construction financing for the new bowling venue which will be a multi-attraction entertainment center located in Rolling Hills Estates, California. The opening is planned for the fall of this year.

The vision to build Level Up Bowling began several years ago by Raman Walia and Rajeev Randhawa, two seasoned business leaders with over 40 years of collective experience across many industries. Their backgrounds include senior level positions at theme parks and large social media companies as well as consulting positions for well-known retail and technology companies.

The new venue will have an excellent location in the Promenade on the Peninsula, an open-air regional shopping mall located in a high traffic area near State Route 1 and U.S. Highway 110. Level Up Bowling will be a 27,000 sq. ft. center targeted toward families and special events. It will feature twelve bowling lanes, two indoor multi-sport simulators, two bays of electronic darts, a large arcade, an outdoor patio, and other attractions. Full food and beverage options will be offered throughout the venue.

“It has been great working with Raman and Rajeev for the past year,” said Ralph Willis, Managing Partner and founding principal of EFA Partners. “They have spent so much time and effort developing this family entertainment center. It is wonderful to see that the financing is now in place and we’re confident that the venue will be very well-received by the local community."

EFA’s principals have over 70 years of collective experience in providing financing solutions for leisure, entertainment, and media companies. They have deep relationships with banks, equipment lessors, construction lenders, specialty finance groups, REITs, and private equity groups. The team prides itself on handling its clients’ financing processes from start to finish. For Level Up Bowling, EFA approached a targeted list of prospective financiers, completed comprehensive materials to highlight the attractiveness of the venue and the leisure sector, procured proposals from several lenders, and participated in all phases of the closing process.

“It has been such a pleasure working with Ralph Willis and the EFA team,” said Raman Walia, CEO of Level Up Bowling. “They have worked with us throughout our journey assisting with many financial aspects of our project which culminated in procuring financing with very favorable terms. Rajeev and I are very excited to now move forward with the construction process and open our venue later this year.”
