Appointment Reflects EFA’s Expansion of its Financial Advisory and Capital Placement Services to Include Telecom and Technology Companies
New York, NY (October 14, 2014) – EFA Partners, a boutique financial advisory firm that provides investment banking and strategic consulting services for companies in the entertainment, media, and telecommunications industries, today announced the appointment of Robert Raciti to Managing Director. He will be based in New York and will be responsible for growing and developing EFA’s client base in the telecommunications and technology services sectors. Dr. Raciti holds a Ph.D. in information systems and has over fourteen years of financial expertise focused on the telecom and IT sectors.
Raciti’s financial career has been focused on structuring financial solutions, placing senior debt and raising capital for telecom and technology companies. Previously, he was a Managing Director of The Silverfern Group where he oversaw the media and telecom practice. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of GE Capital’s Media, Communications, and Entertainment group where he provided industry diligence on over 500 transactions. Of these, nearly 100 closed, representing over $8 billion in funded deal volume.
In addition to his financial experience, Raciti also has over ten years of experience in operational roles with telecom and technology companies. These include Pitney Bowes, MCI Telecommunications and Loral where he led their IT groups and held senior management positions. He is a regular speaker at Investment Technology conferences and has been profiled in publications including The Wall Street Journal and the Commercial Lending Review.
“Rob is a tremendous addition to the EFA team. He brings deep industry expertise, strong client relationships and significant financial structuring experience to our growing firm,” stated Ralph Willis, Managing Partner and co-founder of EFA Partners. “Rob also has an impressive background in the operational side of the telecom and technology industries, so he understands the business of his targeted clients.”
“I’m excited to join the EFA team and reunite with fellow professionals with whom I worked while at GE Capital,” Raciti stated. “In my new role, I will leverage my operational and financial experience and relationships built over my career to help expand EFA’s growing platform into the telecom, IT services and technology sectors.”
Dr. Raciti earned his Ph.D. from Nova Southeastern University's School of Computer and Information Sciences, an MBA in finance and marketing from Fordham University, and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, cum laude, from Manhattan College.
